Busy, busy, busy

blog
It seems like there's so little time for writing blog posts! We've been crazy busy, delivering and collecting hot tubs, that writing has taken a back seat unfortunately. We're not complaining of course, we love providing a great service and superb hot tubs for hire. There's a been an interesting mix of birthday parties, anniversaries and people looking for something else to do when holidays have been cancelled / postponed. I'm almost looking forward to a slightly quieter time as the weather cools down. Even though - there's no reason why that should stop you from hiring a hot tub when it's cold. It's really the perfect time. In the Nordic regions, that's the way they love to use a hot tub. An amazing contrast between the chilly air outside…

Summer is coming

Summer is coming

blog
Summer is coming and the shorts are out! We've made the wrong shorts/jeans decision a few times this year already - shorts then it's too cold, or jeans and it's too hot. However, I think we're safe at the moment and it's making me think about the Summer. It's only April but we're already booked up around 4-6 weeks in advance, and it looks like that's only going to extend more as the weather gets warmer. As everyone starts thinking about spending more time outside and looking for garden activities which will be allowed for slightly more people, I have a feeling we're going to be busy. It's definitely worth booking your hot tub for the Summer earlier rather than later to avoid disappointment. It breaks my heart every time…

Activities for 6 people or less

Activities for 6 people or less

blog
That's been the topic for what seems like forever now. What can I do with lockdown restrictions that involves 6 people? How do I have a fun party? How do I keep the kids entertained / give them a treat? How do I have a hen night? We've successfully answered that question over and over these last few months. The resounding answer has been with Hot Tubs. It lends itself to communication (no phones are usually taken in), and laughter. We've collected so many hot tubs recently, where people have been so disappointed to see the tub go. Kids have been delighted with the fun they can have in their own back garden, while staying safe. Don't forget that the World Health Organisation has stated the chlorine is a very…

Hot Tub Hire in Bovingdon

blog
Box Lane is know as one of the areas premier and most desirable roads for property. This home is simply perfection. They hired one of our larger tubs for their daughter's birthday, having just a couple of friends over to enjoy the evening with bubbles, music and laughter.Everyone got to enjoy the hot tub, young and old. And when everyone was finished, we came along, drained and removed with barely any indication we'd ever been. So simple to rent from us. All the hassle is taken away - just message and we take care of everything.

August is over!

August is over!

blog
Wow. So, we're finally done with August. It's been a mixed bag of weather, but noone seems to have been to bothered when enjoying a hot tub. A bit of light rain never hurt anyone! It's been incredibly busy for us, and we love meeting all of our new customers, and many regulars too. Some have booked because holidays were cancelled, some have booked for birthday parties, some for hen nights, and some for no reason at all! Whatever the reason, we've enjoyed meeting everyone and delivering a little bit of fun and happiness in difficult times. Now we can't wait to meet all of those people who enjoy a starker contrast between the cooler weather outside, and the hot water in the tub. So long as you don't mind the…

Stunning Chesham Garden

Stunning Chesham Garden

blog
We've been in Chesham a lot this year, and it never ceases to amaze me. This house was no exception, with a stunning frontage, but an even more incredible garden. With well stocked shrubs and a delightful conservatory, the hot tub nestled around the corner, ready for use. We even helped run some buckets of hot water round (customer had a amazingly quick hot tap), so they could use the hot tub sooner.

Can’t go to a festival? Bring the festival home

blog
This client and his friends were all planning to go to a music festival this weekend. This obviously didn't happen. So they did the next best thing - hired a hot tub and had their own. A beautiful home in Berkhamsted was the venue, with the courtyard brilliantly decorated ready for a few friends to arrive.

Harpenden

Harpenden is super busy this year! We've been fortunate enough to be recommended many times over, among a few groups of friends in the area so the AL5 postcode is permanently plugging to Google Maps on my phone making deliveries and collections! This lovely family requested an extra week after the first and fortunately we were able to accommodate

Berkhamsted

blog
Back and forth to Berkhamsted again this year :)Definitely not complaining though - enjoying setting up in the sun, and getting hot tubs ready for long warm evenings under the stars. It's the perfect recipe for killing time during lockdown, and according to the WHO, chlorine is pretty effective at killing covid-19 too, so it's win-win.

Strange start to the year

Strange start to the year

Uncategorized
As everyone endures lockdown, there's no denying it's been a very strange start to the year. We're all in the dark about how long it will all go on for and the long term implications, but there's a few silver linings as far as I can see. Communities coming together and a general spirit of 'we're all in this together'. More than anything else, we're all appreciating the work of those previously massively under-appreciated. Everyone I've spoken to with gardens (in my line of work, that's everyone), certainly recognising how fortunate they are to have that outdoor space. Hiring a hot tub, is possible and seems to give some welcome relief to them (and kids) from the monotony of the crisis. We're incredibly busy - particularly in Harpenden and Berkhamsted, largely…
